- For Practitioners (Dentists): This includes your Dental Council of India (DCI) or State Dental Council registration number, qualification certificates, and a government-issued ID (like a PAN card or Aadhaar card) for identity verification.
- For Hosts (Clinic Owners): This includes clinic address, proof of ownership or lease, clinic photographs, and a government-issued ID for identity verification.
- Payment Information: To facilitate bookings and payouts, we collect your financial information, such as your bank account number, IFSC code, or UPI ID. All payment card processing is handled securely by our third-party payment gateway partners. We do not store your credit/debit card numbers on our servers.
- Communications: We collect information you provide when you communicate with other users through our Platform’s messaging service or when you contact our customer support team.
B. Information We Automatically Collect
- Usage Data: We collect information about your interactions with the Platform, such as the pages you view, your search queries, bookings you have made, and other actions you take.

- Between Users: To facilitate a booking, we share certain information between the Practitioner and the Host. For example, a Host will see the Practitioner’s name and professional profile, and a Practitioner will see the Host’s name and clinic address after a booking is confirmed.
- With Third-Party Service Providers: We work with trusted partners to perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, cloud hosting, data analytics, and customer support. These providers only have access to the information necessary to perform their functions and are contractually obligated to protect it.
- For Legal Compliance and Protection: We may disclose your information to courts, law enforcement, or government authorities if required by law or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, prevent harm, or comply with a legal proceeding.
- Business Transfers: If Medifia is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
